Can I migrate my Other Launcher account to SKlauncher?

Yes:

• Create your SKlauncher account and use the same username you had in the other launcher.
• It's case-sensitive. TheExample and theexample are not the same name.
• You won't lose anything because the UUID stays the same (unless the other launcher uses a different UUID system).

How do I put on a skin or cape?

• Already have your own? Open Customisation and upload them. Pay attention to the Slim field, which affects the look.
• Still looking? Browse our skins and capes pages: thousands ready to use.

On a Microsoft account you'll need to upload via the Minecraft Launcher (alternative download). See skins priority too.

Is it possible to upload transparent skins?

Minecraft: Java Edition doesn't support transparent skins by default. They won't be visible without specific mods.

SKlauncher doesn't ship a mod for this since we don't modify the game. If you want to try it, pick a suitable mod.

Can I upload an animated cape?

Same answer as transparent skins. SKlauncher doesn't modify the game, and that's required for animated capes to show in-world.

No plans to change this. If you want to see an animated cape in-game, pick a suitable mod.

Will other players be able to see my skin and cape?

Yes, when everyone on the server runs SKlauncher.

If you've changed your skin and your friends don't see it, check that it's visible in your account settings on our site. Then restart the game and the launcher.

1. SKlauncher
2. Microsoft
3. Server-side mods or plugins (e.g. SkinsRestorer)
